After the condition of the pub windows was raised at a Community Group meeting, chair Nick Wade contacted Punch Taverns. The Golden Cock was subsequently given a welcome facelift, including refreshed windows and new signs.
The much-loved village pub remains an important meeting place for residents, visitors and walkers.
